Consumer Litigation | Class Action Litigation
Gray, Ritter & Graham represents consumers, including classes of consumers, when those persons have been damaged as the result of deceptive or unfair trade practices, violations of state or federal laws, fraud or other wrongful acts that cause economic injury.
GRG accepts representation in select matters involving unique complex issues with substantial damages at stake. For example, GRG was retained by the Missouri Attorney General as one of a handful of firms to represent the State of Missouri against major tobacco companies for years of medical cost for tobacco-related injuries and deaths that resulted from decades of deception by the tobacco industry regarding the deadly nature of tobacco by-products and the profoundly addictive compounds in smoking and chewing tobacco. The case ended in a historic settlement with the tobacco defendants agreeing to pay the state $6.7 billion dollars.
