Ritter Named a Recipient of Missouri Lawyers Weekly ICON Award

Gray Ritter Graham Chairman Robert Ritter has been named a recipient of a 2019 Missouri Lawyers Weekly ICON Award.  The ICON Awards recognize distinguished men and women over the age of 60 for their notable sustained success and strong leadership within and outside the field of law.

Mr. Ritter’s leadership positions include serving as President of The Lawyers Association of St. Louis; on the Board of Governors of The Missouri Bar and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys; and as a Board Member of the Missouri Institute for Justice, the National Judicial College, and the Center for Perinatal Medicine and Law at the University of California-Davis School of Medicine.  He is an Honorary Founder of Saint Louis University and is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council of the Saint Louis University School of Law.

He is the 2003 recipient of The Lawyers Association of St. Louis Award of Honor.  His numerous other professional awards include the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis Award of Achievement and the Award of Merit, and The National Conference of Metropolitan Courts Award of Merit.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers, and a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Mr. Ritter will receive the ICON Award at a luncheon May 31 at the Missouri Athletic Club in downtown St. Louis.
