Plane Crash Victim Settlement

Plane crash case settled for $3.165 Million

Morry Cole recently resolved a case arising from the crash of a deHavilland Twin Otter aircraft. The plane suffered an engine failure in its right engine shortly after takeoff, struggled to stay airborne for nearly a minute and crashed into a telephone pole and trees in east central Missouri. Mr. Cole's client suffered extensive injuries in the crash. Detailed metallurgical analysis showed cracks and fractures in the engine's compressor turbine blades consistent with blade tip separation that led to the engine failure.
