Vioxx Consumer Fraud Lawsuit Settlement Receives Final Approval

A Jackson County, Mo. circuit judge gave final approval to a settlement of the nation's first Vioxx consumer fraud class action lawsuit. Gray Ritter Graham attorney Don Downing, representing the plaintiffs, says that as many as 300,000 Missourians qualify for settlement payments. The minimum total payment is $39 million and could reach $220 million.
