Gray Ritter Graham attorney Don Downing on May 2 was a guest lecturer for a University of Missouri School of Law class on “Complex Litigation.”  Larry Dessem, professor of the class and former dean of the University of Missouri School of Law, asked Don to speak to the class.  Don is an alumnus of the law school and a former member and chairman of the University of Missouri Board of Curators.  His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and class action litigation. He was a co-lead plaintiffs’ counsel in last year’s $1.51 billion settlement with Syngenta of a nationwide class action lawsuit on behalf of U.S. corn farmers. It is believed to be the largest agricultural settlement in U.S. history.
