A St. Louis County jury reached what is believed to be a record medical malpractice verdict– in excess of $6.4 million-following a trial by Patrick J. Hagerty and M. Graham Dobbs of Gray Ritter Graham. The lawsuit was against SSM DePaul Medical Group and its employee physician. The GRG trial team proved that the physician’s negligence led directly to a devastating stroke suffered by GRG’s client. The stroke left the man’s right side dysfunctional, and he suffered a seizure disorder as well as a brain injury that compromised his speech and memory. To read more, click here and here.
