A St. Louis County jury reached what is believed to be a record medical malpractice verdict– in excess of $6.4 million-following a trial by Patrick J. Hagerty and M. Graham Dobbs of Gray, Ritter & Graham. The lawsuit was against SSM DePaul Medical Group and its employee physician. The GRG trial team proved that the physician’s negligence led directly to a devastating stroke suffered by GRG’s client. The stroke left the man’s right side dysfunctional, and he suffered a seizure disorder as well as a brain injury that compromised his speech and memory. To read more, click here and here.
