Maurice Graham Named St. Louis Bar Foundation President

Maurice GrahamMaurice Graham has been named President of the St. Louis Bar Foundation.

Originally founded in 1956 as the charitable arm of The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the scope of the St. Louis Bar Foundation has widened over the years. Its goals today include: to foster and maintain the honor and integrity of the profession of the law; to study, improve and facilitate the administration of justice; to promote suitable standards of legal education; to cause to be published and to distribute addresses, reports, treatises and other literary works on legal subjects; to acquire, preserve and exhibit rare books and documents, objects of art, and items of historical interest having legal significance or bearing on the administration of justice; to grant scholarships to students of law; and to promote the study of the law and research thereon, the diffusion of knowledge thereof, and the continuing education of lawyers.

“I look forward to doing my best to see that the Foundation accomplishes its mission and continues to be an important and dynamic influence in our community,” Graham said.
