Pursuant to election conducted and overseen by The Clerk of The Missouri Supreme Court, on August 15, 2013, Morry Cole was elected to The Board of Governors of The Missouri Bar. The Board of Governors is the policy-making body that governs the State of Missouri’s mandatory state Bar. All Missouri attorneys are required to be members of The Missouri Bar. The Board oversees all policies and programs of The Missouri Bar. These activities include monitoring and working for passage of legislation that affects the administration of justice, the integrity of the judiciary and the dignity of the profession of law; administration of continuing legal education requirements for the Missouri Supreme Court; providing effective citizenship education; administration of various lawyer assistance and insurance programs; and many more services. Cole will serve a two-year term.
