Gretchen Garrison Named to the POWER List 2024

Gretchen GarrisonGretchen Garrison, of Gray Ritter Graham, was named in the POWER List of 2024 for appellate law. The POWER List interviews respected attorneys and leaders around the state and reviews outcomes of their cases and state records to arrive at the final list.

“To me, one of the best things about being a lawyer is the privilege of being both teacher and student. Advocacy is an art. It is infinitely absorbing, creative, and in my view should, in its best form, serve not only the client but the public and body of law itself. Being named to the POWER List in 2024 is a great honor and showcases the passion I have for my clients and the law,” said Garrison.

Garrison has over 30 years of experience representing clients in complex commercial cases, including individual business disputes and large-scale class actions and mass tort actions. She is Co-Chair of the Missouri Bar Appellate Practice Committee and has spent time in her career as Deputy Appellate Counsel at the Missouri Attorney General’s Office and primary appellate counsel to the Missouri Department of Revenue. She has co-authored several articles for the Missouri Lawyers Weekly series regarding Points Relied On, offering guidance on the Missouri Supreme Court’s briefing rules. She was an instrumental part of leadership teams securing over $2 Billion in verdicts and settlements in In re Genetically Modified Rice Litigation, In re Syngenta AG MIR162 Corn Litigation, and In re Dicamba Herbicides Litigation and received a Missouri Lawyers’ Weekly award for top plaintiff win in 2013. Garrison is a 2024 recipient of the Women’s Justice Award.
