Syngenta Lawsuit: Class Action Certification Appeal Denied

On Dec. 7, 2016, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit denied Syngenta’s attempt to appeal the class action certification granted by the United States District Court for the District of Kansas on Sept. 26, 2016. The nationwide and Kansas class action lawsuits over Syngenta knowingly releasing genetically modified corn into the marketplace as part of their Agrisure Viptera and Agrisure Duracade lines are set to start trial on June 5, 2017.
