Class Action Filed Over Senior Property Tax Freeze

GRG Attorney Pat Hagerty was featured on Fox 2 News St. Louis on July 1, 2025, regarding a class action lawsuit filed by GRG on behalf of Missouri Seniors (62 and over) who applied for the Senior Property Tax Freeze.  The basis of the suit is that St. Louis County has not properly followed the criteria for the Freeze, which could lead to seniors receiving tax credits much lower than what the state law requires. The firm has filed a similar suit on behalf of taxpayers in the City of St. Louis.
