Downing, Garrison to Speak at National Ag Law Symposium

Gray Ritter Graham attorneys Don Downing and Gretchen Garrison will be featured presenters at the American Agricultural Law Association’s 40th Annual Agricultural Law Educational Symposium in Washington, D.C. They will give their presentation, titled “Understanding the Essentials of Agricultural Market Loss Litigation: Duty, the Economic Loss Doctrine and Damage,” on November 9. Both GRG attorneys have been instrumental in agricultural litigation, including a $1.51 billion settlement in 2018 with Syngenta on behalf of U.S. grown growers, and a $750 million settlement with Bayer Cropscience on behalf of U.S. rice farmers. The AALA is the nation’s premier association for agricultural law and policy professionals.
