GRG pushes forward with FCA class action amid uptick in vehicular thefts in the St. Louis area

As covered in a recent Fox 2 News story out of St. Charles, there is a massive stolen car ring operating in the area.  The thefts have spanned four counties, and numerous vehicles have been stolen – particularly Dodge Challengers and Chargers.  The thieves perform the thefts by using a device which allows them to quickly program a blank key to be used as a duplicate and drive off within seconds.  The stolen vehicles are often then sold within 48 hours of the theft.

Gray Ritter Graham has been actively litigating a class action lawsuit in federal court against FCA US for months.  We have alleged that many FCA vehicles possess a safety defect which allows them to be easily stolen in the manner described above.  As a result, these vehicles are stolen at a much higher rate than average.  We are currently accepting cases involving stolen FCA vehicles.

If you or anyone you know has had an FCA vehicle stolen, including Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Ram, and Fiat car makes, please give us a call at (314) 241-5620.
