Neill to be moderator at Practical Skills Seminar

GRG attorney Thomas Neill will be a moderator on May 7, 2025 for a CLE titled Practical Skills Series: Arguing Motions in Circuit Court (for Beginners and Veterans).

Neill will moderate a discussion among five experienced judges on the best practices in arguing motions and the information that judges want to hear outside of written briefs. Topics include: educating the court with a busy docket, what facts matter, how to argue through analogous case law, how to argue against contrary case law, and other quick notes. This presentation is intended for lawyers of all levels of experience.

The CLE is presented by BAMSL and the St. Louis County Bar Association.  It is being co-presented with:  the Law Library Association of St. Louis; the Lawyers Association of St. Louis; the Missouri Supreme Court Historical Society; Mound City Bar Association, and the Women Lawyers' Association of Greater St. Louis.
